Toronto Raptors will begin the 2026‑27 NBA season on Oct. 21 with a home game against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. The league released the full schedule on Thursday and the Raptors' first road test follows two days later in Washington.

The opening contest pits the Raptors against a Bulls squad that finished the previous season in the middle of the Eastern Conference. Toronto's fans will be the first to see the new season's roster in action, and the game will be the 14th time in 15 years that the franchise has opened at home.
Key matchups and calendar highlights
Later in November the Raptors host the defending champion New York Knicks for back to back games on the 15th and 17th. December brings a visit from the San Antonio Spurs, led by rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama, on the 10th. The team will also welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder and Canadian star Shai Gilgeous Alexander on March 10.
January is the busiest month with 17 games, including a six‑game home stretch. The schedule features 15 back to back series, seven of which require no travel. Eighty of the 82 regular‑season contests have been set, with the remaining two to be slotted after the group stage of the NBA Cup tournament.
Toronto does not appear on the league's Christmas Day lineup, a pattern that has continued since the franchise last played on Dec. 25, 2019, when it entered the season as defending champions.
